The second story happened with the iPhone 7, on the display of which I found a dead pixel. Having previously contacted Apple technical support, I received official confirmation that this is a warranty case and the display should be replaced in the ASC. Since I didn’t want to go to another city, I handed over the device to the Beeline office, where the device was purchased. But what was my surprise when, after a couple of weeks, the device was returned to me with the conclusion of a certain Moscow branch of MT Service that no faults were found. A couple of days later, the device was successfully handed over to the same Moscow ASC, which had previously repaired a friend's MacBook, and there, without any questions, the display was replaced for me within three days.
This means that not all services are created equal. I met a few more strange stories on the network in which Apple's ASC took money for diagnostics even with a warranty case. So be ready to communicate and defend your rights, and if it doesn’t work, then go to a more competent service. But such situations do not negate the fact that two years of warranty is always better than one. So personally, I prefer official devices, even if they are more expensive.

This means that the iPhone was already in use, and then, for some reason, was returned to the store or service center.
